not one mention on this forum about sir bob,no matter whose badge you may kiss,or your hatred fer the geordies, you could still acknowledge the man,and his contrubution to english football, and his presence on the world stage, you should hang yer heads in shame

As you may have noticed this message board has virtually zero traffic, not surprising as it's an SAFC board on a Newcastle Newspaper's website.
Therefore to come on here and berate makems (not Sunderland Supporters) for their lack of acknowledgment of SBR is rather bizarre...

Perhaps you should look elsewhere before judging?

How about you look at the sticky at the top of the Sunderland Message Board, one of the the biggest football message boards in the country?

Or if you want to look at the judgments of fellow Newcastle followers to our response on other sites and the singing of songs celebrating SBR at our match at Celtic try Newcastle mad, or indeed the reaction of that most partisan message board of yours - Skunkers?

You'll find that the reaction of NUFC fans to our response to the demise of SBR has been universally praised.

PS It's only due to the respect I have for SBR that I haven't ripped into you for this nauseating attempt at fishing and allowed this thread to descend into pathetic point scoring, hang your head in shame lad.

We do, google the websites I mentioned and read the dozens of threads and hundreds of posts from SAFC and NUFC supported alike.

You'll see for instance that the "sticky" condolence thread paying respect on the Sunderland Message Board Pure Football Sub-forum has 512 POSTS and 23,426 VIEWS. You won't find that level of response on here, or for that matter on ANY NUFC site...

You're looking in the wrong place for a response and the judging an entire club's supporters on the back of it.

And I say again, I'm trying to respond you your anger in a considered way because of my respect for SBR, you should not at a time like this 'care less' about appearing to point score. Look at those websites and then come back and post your reaction to them on here. Until then show some restraint and dignity at this sad time for football.

you say i'm looking in the the wrong place,i would have thought that the chron forum, would be the first port of call,to express your sorrow, and memories, in fact first, second and last,as that is where most geordies would be waiting to read your posts,on the sad loss of Sir Bobby, and for the record, i'm not angry, just disappointed,at the makems, and their luke-warm response on these forums

 You make no mention of your crowds disgraceful treatment of him during the late 90s
when visiting Sid James's he was shamelessly bood, spat at and had missiles
thrown at him because h decided to drop Kevin Keegan from the England
team, as usual selective memory.
