The Football Supporters’ Federation is hosting their annual showpiece event, Fans’ Parliament, in Newcastle on the weekend of the 19th/20th/21st.
Featuring a pub-crawl by way of an introduction to the weekend on the Friday evening, the main event gets underway at on Saturday 20th at 10am. Guest speaker this year is The Guardian sports journalist David Conn, along with representation from the likes of the Premier League, the Football League, the PFA and human rights organisation Liberty among others.
The whole event is open to anyone, and completely free to attend. If you're only able to attend certain parts then you're more than welcome, there's no obligation to be there for everything!
I won’t go into the whole spiel, but if you’ve got any questions then feel free to check out the Fans' Parliament website at http://www.fsf.org.uk/fans-parliament/2009/index.php, or drop us an email at fp09@fsf.org.uk
There’s also a 5-a-side tournament on the Sunday, too, so if any of you fancy a kick-about and can get a team together then let us know if you’re interested. It’s likewise free to enter, and the more the merrier.
