Orange wednesdays at the cinema

Postby skintagain »

ive been twice to the new Odeon in the Metro Centre, the first time i did not like it the seats were horrible and hard, the second time i went was because it was the only one showing a film i wanted to see at a time that suited but this time the seats seemed ok, probably getting softer due to wear so i decided to go today to see Toy Story 3, the ques were out the door and went into the car park and no way was i stnding in that que, so i went to Empire Newcastle stood in a que for about 2 mins got served and have my tickets so im off shortly to see it :D ,
ive never seen ques so big the only thing i can put it dow to is the holidays combined with Orange Wednesday.

the cinemas are all kept clean now AlF no dirty or yellow secreens, no flickering of the projector light through the cigarette smoke, they can be expensive though but only to those foolish enough to buy food, drink and sweets there, i always take mine with me,
anyway i enjoyed toy story 3 3D, next im going to see the new A team film i heard from a big fan of them it's a great film.

I heard Toy Story 3 makes grown men cry

I'm gonna take the kids to see it too but it wont be at the metrocentre after reading your post skint-reckon it'll be Newcastle for us too.

We were up Brocksbushes today hoping for a bit of fruit picking-but no strawberries or blackberries yet so if anyones thinking of going I'd give it a couple of weeks.Mind we got a load of gooseberries and redcurrants so we've made a canny few pots of jam tonight

Im not sure about that A team film mind

Saw the actors interviewed this morning and I didnt fancy it much

they may break down but i think anything like that would be very rare, im sure they dont use the old film reels anymore so no snapped films or stopping half way through while they change the reel are things of the past, a lot of films now are 3D it's a lot better than the old style 3D, i went to see Clash of the Titans 3D the 3D in that was rubbish but that was because it was a last minute decision to add and it was rushed, other films ive seen in 3D have been excellent.
shads i bought my tickets at 6.15pm there was a 2D version on at 7.20 and the next 3D version which i got tickets for was 8.20pm and as i said it only took 2 mins in the que, when we got there though at 8.15 the ques were quite big so it's best to get there early but the ques were nothing like they were at the Metro Centre, and didn't see any grown men crying  .

Inception is on my list of films to see along with, the A team, Predators, Twilight Eclipse, Cats and Dogs2, and in August the Expendables.

I fancy Inception too but I really dont like Leo and that kind of puts me off.The other actor I cant stand isTom Cruise.

you dont have to book in advance but during the holidays or Orange wednesdays it can help avoiding the ques, i have some favourite actors but none that i hate or dislike so im never put off a film because of who stars in it. i have more interest in the film than the actors as they are just playing the charactors.

I'm on Orange, but I haven't taken advantage of the two for one Wednesday. There hasn't been a film that I particularly want to see of late. Too many remakes, and to much special F/X substituting a good plot.
You can't have everything..............after all where would you put it?
