Jack is out for the count and everyone else is asleep. I've stolen his forum ID as I just wanted to post this to tell the world how horrible things are when the truth is kept from us. Please follow this link and lobby when and where you can. We do our best to treat our livestock with respect and compassion but we also realise what their ultimate fate will be. That does not give us the right to be inhumane as every animal deserves respect, especially when it is eventually going to be eaten by consumers who are able to turn a blind eye to it's suffering. That's awful!! There is no need to treat animals like that I don't know why they cannot slaughter them in Oz, and transport them in frozen container ships? Mind some animals are treated awful here as well, with these factory farming methods. Mr Ann's dad was a butcher and he used to go to the Cattle Market in Town and walk them all back to Wallsend Be hell of a job these days, driving a load of cattle down the Coast Road!!
